NUTAI, together with the consortium of seven SMEs (Icpe SA, Ikor electronic systems SI, Moses products SI, Mr. NeC BV, New Industrial Automation Techniques SI, Stam SRL, Steripack Ireland LTD), five research centers (Bremer Institut für produktion und logistik GmbH, AITIIP Foundation, AITIIP Foundation, Clermont & Co. NeC BV, Nuevas Técnicas de Automatización Industrial SI, Stam SRL, Steripack Ireland LTD), five research centers (Bremer Institut für produktion und logistik GmbH, AITIIP Foundation, Clermont Auvergne INP, Irish Manufacturing Research Company, Vicomtech Visual Interaction and Communication Technology Center Foundation), two universities (Berner Fachhochschule and University of the Church of Deusto religious entity) and two clusters (Pôle EMC2 and Robocoast), aims to develop and demonstrate a novel concept of cognitive robotic platforms based on a modular approach capable of seamlessly adapting to virtually any industrial scenario by applying agile manufacturing principles. The novel industrial platform will be based on the plug-and-produce concept, featuring a modular and scalable architecture that will enable the connection of robotic systems with enhanced cognitive capabilities to deal with cyber-physical systems (CPS) in rapidly changing production environments.
The ACROBA project (AI-Driven Cognitive Robotic Platform for Agile Production environments) with no. 101017284 is located in the framework of the European program H2020, within the topic ICT-46-2020 Robotics in Application Areas and Coordination & Support and action type IA (Innovation Action). In H2020-ICT there are 10 subtopics, including ICT-46, and 712 proposals have been submitted, of which 78 of them have been eligible for funding, for a total amount of 373.5M€.
