The DRAGONBOT project, formed by the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV), INDEREN, GREENVISION, and NUTAI, has as its main scientific and technological objective the research and development of a new intelligent pitaya harvesting system based on an advanced robotic system capable of performing staggered harvesting according to the ripeness stage of each fruit by using a vision system and artificial intelligence. This promotes a more sustainable agricultural model from social, economic, and environmental perspectives.

This program belongs to the Valencian Innovation Agency (AVI) and is co-financed by the European Union through the Operational Program of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), File No. INNEST/2023/154.
