Elygreen

ELYGREEN H2, developed by NUTAI, is a reversible test bench, specifically designed for electrochemical modules based on solid oxide technology (SOEC/SOFC). It allows testing solid oxide cells in two modes, as electrolysers (SOEC) for hydrogen production and as fuel cells (SOFC) for power generation, ensuring accurate and reliable results.

With the ability to operate with a wide range of gases, including hydrogen, oxygen, water vapour and even hydrocarbons, ELYGREEN H2 offers a flexible environment that adapts to the specific needs of each investigation. This enables extensive testing under varying conditions, which is essential for optimising key technologies for the energy transition to a cleaner, more sustainable future.

Operation at pressures up to 50 bar and temperatures up to 1000 °C, simulating extreme operating conditions.
Ability to work with up to 6 different gases, including biogas, syngas and custom blends.
Bi-directional power supply system and integrated sensors that monitor flow, temperature, pressure and voltage.
Graphical interface that allows visualisation of all process variables and programming of complex and automated test profiles.
Automatic emergency routines, pressure sensors and relief valves ensure safe operation.
Nitrogen or argon purge options to ensure cleanliness and avoid risks during testing.
