CobotVNC is a URCap software that provides remote programming, assistance, debugging, backup, and cobot training via VNC. Launched just before the onset of Covid-19, CobotVNC has attracted a flow of customers from Europe and North America, says NUTAI’s Business Development Manager, Mónica Pérez: “In the times we live in, our software allows users to avoid having to be on-site and the need to clean and disinfect their workstations. Companies worldwide are reaching out to us to purchase these products for use in the industry by end users and integrators.”

The Ford engine plant in Valencia (VEP), Spain, has integrated the UR10e into its production line. The company recently tested CobotVNC on its cobot with excellent results. Ford VEP’s new technologies engineer, Pablo Jimeno, explains: “NUTAI’s CobotVNC software pleasantly surprised us. We tested it on a robot we had on the line, and it worked perfectly. It allows us to remotely manage the robot and access files without being present, greatly facilitating maintenance, control, and production support.”
Pablo Jimeno from Ford sees additional value for CobotVNC in educational scenarios: “I believe it can have an impact not only in industry but also in training and learning. It can help new generations learn more and better about collaborative robotics, a technology that has grown significantly recently and will be key in this sector in the coming years.”
