DRAGONBOT

Intelligent and Automated Harvesting of High-Value Crops in Sustainable Greenhouses
Dragonbot RECOLECCIÓN INTELIGENTE Y AUTOMATIZADA DE CULTIVOS DE ALTO VALOR EN INVERNADEROS SOSTENIBLES

The DRAGONBOT project, formed by the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV), INDEREN, GREENVISION, and NUTAI, has as its main scientific and technological objective the research and development of a new intelligent harvesting system for dragon fruit based on an advanced robotic system capable of executing a staggered harvest according to the ripeness of each fruit using a vision and artificial intelligence system. This initiative aims to promote a more sustainable agricultural model from social, economic, and environmental perspectives.

This program is part of the Valencian Innovation Agency (AVI) and is co-financed by the European Union through the Operational Program of the European Regional Development Fund (FEDER), Exp. No. INNEST/2023/154.
